Edge 2004 Girls Head to the National Championships

Chicago Edge 2004 Girls won a thriller Monday night at Olympic Park to win 1-0 against DG Roadrunners and win the Chicago National Premier League title. The title win means the team also cements a place at the National Championship in Aurora, Colorado on July 12th - 16th.

It is the clubs first ever appearance at a National Championship and we couldn't be more proud of the girls. Last year the girls advanced to the Regional Tournament but with the hard fought victory last night they bettered that performance this year.

The team consists of players pulled from our 2003 8th grade team, the 2004 Premier team and our 2005 Premier girls team and is coached by Director of Coaching Gavin Richards.

Good luck in Colorado, ladies!!
